Barely a fortnight since SpaceX’s last batch of 60 Starlink satellites were launched (on March 11th) a Falcon 9 rocket has placed another batch of 60 satellites into orbit.
The latest launch occurred at 08.28 GMT (04.28 ET) on March 24th from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Later the Falcon 9 first stage booster – already used in January and February – landed on the ‘Of Course I Still Love You’ floating barge down range from the Cape.
This was the 23rd Starlink launch and the 9th flight for SpaceX this year.
Just over 8 minutes after launch the first stage succesfully land onto the barge, and ready for its next mission a month or so from now.
