Youku Tudou to screen BAFTAs

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has revealed that Youku Tudou (www.youku.com), the chinese Internet television company, will stream the EE British Academy Film Awards February 9th for the very first time, as part of a new three-year deal with BAFTA.
Alongside the EE British Academy Film Awards, the BAFTA-Youku Tudou package includes streaming of the British Academy Games Awards, the British Academy Television Awards and the long-running series of on-stage interviews, BAFTA A Life in Pictures. IMG, a global leader in sports, media and fashion, brokered the deal on behalf of BAFTA.
The EE British Academy Film Awards is among the leading international film awards ceremonies and regularly attracts the biggest names in the world to its red carpet.
The EE British Academy Film Awards take place on February 8th at The Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden.
