NYCE Networks announces appointment of Robert Heath as CEO

NYCE Networks, a leading provider of innovative Plastic Optical Fiber to Ethernet products, has announced the appointment of Robert Heath as CEO of the company.

In his new role, Heath will be responsible for ensuring achievement of NYCE’s business objectives and will have day-to-day responsibility for directing the sales, engineering, and finance teams. He will work closely with the executive management team and the board to identify new strategic growth opportunities globally for NYCE. Heath was appointed to the NYCE Networks Board earlier in 2010.

Heath brings over 15 years of executive level leadership experience in the high-tech industry with him to the role as CEO. Prior to joining NYCE, Heath held executive leadership roles at Triant Technologies Inc., Strydent Software Inc., and Cymbolic Sciences Inc., as well as senior management roles at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), and IBM. Heath graduated with honors from Bath University in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
