Wildling Pictures options Woman on the Edge

Toronto-based film and television production company Wildling Pictures has optioned the international best-selling novel Woman on the Edge by Samantha M. Bailey with coproducers, Toronto-based Little Mama Media for a series adaptation. The psychological thriller adaptation represents Wildling’s growing slate of high-end scripted TV series, following the launch of its TV division last year.
In a split second, Morgan Kincaid’s life changes forever. She’s on her way home from work when a complete stranger begs her to take her baby, then places the infant in her arms. Before Morgan can stop her, the distraught mother jumps in front of an oncoming train.
In complete shock and totally unaware of how the woman knew her name, the police take Morgan in for questioning. She soon learns that the woman who jumped was Nicole Markham, prominent CEO of the athletic brand Breathe. She also learns that no witness can corroborate her version of events, which means she has just become a murder suspect.

As Morgan desperately attempts to make sense of it all, she realises she may be in danger herself. Woman on the Edge is an international bestseller that has been sold in eleven countries. The book spent twenty-two weeks as a Canadian bestseller, and is one of the top ten bestselling Canadian fiction books of 2020.
